Melamine Faced Chipboard, commonly abbreviated as MFC

- (Chip board in Europe, particle board in the United States and China) -

Composition: Plywood is a particle plywood made by breaking wood into fiber particles and gluing them together; the two sides of the core material are usually covered with melamine paper.

 

Advantages: moisture-proof, pressure-resistant, impact-resistant, low formaldehyde, inexpensive, environmentally friendly building materials, good resistance to deformation, and various surface embossing treatments.

 

Disadvantages: extremely special and irregular shapes are difficult to process.

 

Common uses: affordable furniture, DIY furniture, system furniture, system cabinets, OA office furniture.

Surface processing: veneer (melamine, solid wood veneer, melamine board, etc.).

 

Various colors: With the advancement of printing technology, the melamine paper on the surface of plywood can show a variety of colorful colors: plain color, wood grain, stone, cloth texture, totem and other patterns.

 

Surface treatment: The surface texture of the board can be matched with different steel plate embossing to present a variety of tactile surface materials, such as wood grain, smooth surface, plaster brush texture, velvet texture.
