It has little to do with the quality of the internal material of the edge banding strip, mainly the production process of the edge banding strip factory and the production technical skills of the employees. A good edge banding strip is: the surface must be smooth, no or very little blistering, no or very little drawing, with a moderate gloss, not too shiny or too matte (unless there are special requirements).

2. Look at the flatness of the surface and bottom surface of the edge banding strip, and whether the thickness is uniform, otherwise it will lead to the combination of the edge banding strip and the plate, the glue line is too eye-catching or the gap between the plate and the edge banding strip is too large, which will affect the overall beauty. Details determine success or failure, and often a small detail problem may bring about an embarrassing situation of poor overall effect.

3. Whether the edge banding trimming is white, whether the surface of the bent edge banding strip is seriously white, and whether the background color of the edge banding strip is close to the surface color of the difficult plate. If the calcium carbonate content is too high, there will be whitening of the edges, bending and whitening, which proves that the quality of this product is not good.

4. Whether the strength is okay and whether there is elasticity, high strength means good wear resistance, and the corresponding quality is better, and too high strength also means that the processing difficulty increases. Low elasticity means low wear resistance and low resistance to aging. In addition, according to the needs of actual production, it is generally necessary to manually trim the edge, which can be appropriately done as soft points, and the automatic edge banding machine can be appropriately made as hard points.

5. Whether the adhesive is evenly applied and whether it is easy to fall off during use.

6. Smell whether PVC edge banding strip has a taste, the products produced by using good quality raw materials generally have a small taste, if the taste is too large, it means that the quality of raw materials used in production is relatively poor.
