According to the application: Class A particle board; Class B particle board
According to the particleboard structure: single-layer structure particleboard; three-layer structure particleboard; gradient structure particleboard; directional particleboard; waffle particleboard; molded particleboard.
According to the manufacturing method: flat-pressed particleboard; extruded particleboard. According to the raw materials used: wood particleboard; bagasse particleboard; linen chip particleboard; cotton stalks particleboard; bamboo particleboard, etc.; cement particleboard; gypsum particleboard.
According to the surface condition points:
1, unfinished particleboard: sanded particleboard; unsanded particleboard.
2,Finish particle board: impregnated paper-finish particle board; decorative laminate-finish particle board; veneer-finish particle board; surface-coated particle board; PVC-finish particle board and so on.
Particleboard is divided into low-density (0.25-0.45g/cm3), medium-density (0.45-0.60g/cm3) and high-density (0.60-1.3g/cm3) according to the products, but the density of 0.60-0.70g/cm3 is usually produced. According to the structure of the slab, there are three kinds of structures: single-layer, three-layer (including multi-layer) and gradient. According to water resistance, it is divided into indoor water-resistant and outdoor water-resistant. According to the arrangement of particles in the slab, there are two types: directional type and random type. In addition, there are various kinds of particleboards made of non-wood materials such as cotton stalks, hemp stalks, bagasse, rice hulls, etc., as well as cement wood wool boards and cement particleboards made of inorganic adhesive materials. There are more specifications for particleboard, with thicknesses ranging from 1.6 mm to 75 mm, with 19 mm as the standard thickness. In assessing the quality of particleboard, often considered physical properties are density, water content, water absorption, thickness expansion rate, etc., mechanical properties are static bending strength, vertical board surface tensile strength (internal bonding strength), grip force modulus of elasticity and modulus of rigidity, etc., and process properties of the cutting, gluing, paint finishing, etc.. Particleboard for special purposes should also be considered according to the different uses of electrical, acoustic, thermal and anticorrosion, fire, flame retardant and other properties.
