1. PVC wood grain edge banding
It is cured after printing with ink on PVC substrate and then rolling on UV paint.

Now the price of ink on the market is 20 yuan / kg - 160 yuan / kg, the use of high-quality ink printing edge banding, the simulation effect of the edge banding is close to the plate, the printing layer is rich, and the indoor fading is not obvious within three years. At present, the edge banding with rich printing hierarchy is mainly three-color printing, followed by two-color printing and one-color printing.
Detection method: The edge banding strips printed with different inks are placed in strong sunlight for a week, and then compared with the sunlight before exposure, you can see that the fading degree of the two edge banding strips is different. The abrasion resistance and transparency of the wood grain edge banding are related to the quality of the UV paint. The market price of UV paint is between 50 yuan / kg - 120 yuan / kg, if the surface of the edge banding is easy to scratch and blur, it is due to the use of inferior UV paint. The degree of adhesion between the edge banding strip and the board, and the bonding effect between the edge banding strip and the hot melt adhesive depend on the quality of the adhesive backing.

The bonding of the sheet and the edge banding strip has certain requirements in terms of temperature. ALTHOUGH THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HOT MELT IN THE HOT MELT BARREL OF THE EDGE BANDING MACHINE IS 200 O C - 180 O C, THE HOT MELT ROLLER COATING SHEET IS 20 CM - 30 CM AWAY FROM THE EDGE BANDING ADHESIVE POINT. Due to the low temperature in the workshop and the fast heat dissipation, the temperature of the bonding point between the sheet and the edge banding strip is actually below 120 o C, and the bonding effect is not ideal. At this time, if you use a bad adhesive, it is easier to open the adhesive (the current market price of adhesive: 18 yuan / kg - 50 yuan / kg). Solution: Because the cutting of the plate from a place with low temperature will affect the bonding effect due to the low temperature of the side of the plate, it is necessary to keep the indoor temperature of the workshop above 15 o C, and add a thermostatic cover to the edge banding disc of the edge banding machine.

2. ABS edge banding
ABS resin is one of the most advanced materials in the world, and the edge banding strip made of it is not doped with calcium carbonate, and it looks translucent and smooth after trimming, and will never appear whitish. However, the market price of ABS resin is about 12,800 yuan/ton, and the production cost is high, which is about 1 times higher than the price of PVC edge banding strips of the same specification in the market. Solid veneer finger jointed edge banding strips are mainly used on veneered furniture. This product is glued on the back of the non-woven fabric to increase the strength of the veneer, prevent the veneer from breaking, and the finger joint length is 200 meters / roll, so it can be used continuously on the edge banding machine to improve work efficiency and trim the edge neatly. It solves the shortcomings of single veneer edge banding.

3. Melamine edge banding, commonly known as paper edge banding, has the advantage of being easy to stick, not easy to expand and shrink when exposed to heat and cold, and not easy to deform, but because of its brittle and easy to fold, it is easy to be damaged in furniture production and handling.
