Adhesive glue on Edge Banding

After the big two sides of plywood are pasted with laminate, the most intricate sides are the edges of the Plywood which must be sealed with the same laminate to make it look beautiful. The process to do it is completely different from the normal laminate pasting. Here the modern Joinery factories use what's called an Edge Banding machine to do this.

To enable this pasting, there is a special type of Glues called Hot Melt Adhesives where the adhesive comes in the form of small glue pellets. The glue pellets are melted at high temperature and the machine throws this glue into side of the plywood and edge band gets pasted immediately after. The pasting is instantaneous and such edge banded plywood can be immediately processed for cutting.
